Inspection

X-Ray Foreign Object Inspection

A colour sorter separates product from product. An X-ray machine finds what has no colour difference at all — glass, stone, bone, dense plastic, and metal inside a sealed bag.

KH-X series

Two machine families: bulk and packaged

The B series inspects free-flowing product on a belt with air-blast rejection — the natural partner to a colour sorter. The P series inspects bagged, boxed, bottled and canned product and rejects with a flap, pusher or air jet.

  • Beryllium-window source up to 350 W for sharper imaging
  • 0.1 mm TDI detector option, minimum detectable feature down to 0.05 mm
  • Separates objects of similar density, not just high-contrast metal
  • Self-diagnostics with audible alarm and plain-text screen messages
  • Handles bulk, bagged, boxed, bottled, canned and unwrapped product

B-series overall machine dimensions are confirmed against your specific belt layout at quotation — they depend on the reject conveyor you select. Detection limits depend on product density, packaging material and the size of the contaminant; we test your sample and report what is actually achievable.

Design detail

Built for a washdown food factory

Hygienic frame

Designed with no dead corners so water cannot pool, and the belt frame drains itself rather than trapping moisture and harbouring growth.

Belt tracking

The conveyor is self-tracking — no manual adjustment, which keeps product transport stable across a long shift.

Interchangeable rejection

Flap, pusher, swing arm or air blast, chosen per line. The same cabinet takes whichever reject device suits the product format.

Before you buy

Radiation licensing is part of the project

An X-ray machine is a regulated radiation source. Most countries require the importer to hold a licence and to register the installation before the machine can be energised. We support that process with documentation — but the licence itself is held by you.

  • We supply the source specification and shielding documentation you need for the application
  • Interlock and warning-light wiring diagrams are provided for your installer
  • Commissioning support is available remotely, and on site by arrangement
  • Ask us early — licensing timelines often set the project date, not manufacturing

Requirements differ by country. We will tell you what we know about your market, and we will not claim to handle the licence on your behalf.

What are you trying to find?

Tell us the contaminant and the product format. We will tell you whether X-ray is the right tool — and if a colour sorter or a metal detector is the cheaper answer, we will say so.
